We often have the wrong starting point with Jesus. It’s easy to start with Christ’s humanity — it’s easy to think of Jesus as a man who claimed to be God, when in fact, the starting point is that Jesus is God who became a man. When we celebrate Christmas it's so much more than celebrating the birthday of Jesus of Nazareth. It's celebrating the great mystery of God Himself taking on flesh and entering our world to do what we never could — to save us from our sins.
