What happens when your desperate prayer collides with someone else's miracle? In Luke 8:40-56, Jesus proves He is never divided, never delayed, and never defeated — even when death interrupts. Two people. Two desperate situations. One Savior who is enough for both.In this expositional teaching through Luke 8:40-56, we study the stories of Jairus — a powerful synagogue ruler who fell at Jesus's feet — and an unnamed woman with a 12-year hemorrhage who reached for the hem of His garment in secret. What links them is the same truth: desperation levels everyone in the presence of Jesus. Status cannot save you. Shame cannot stop you. Jesus perceived power leaving His body when she touched Him. He called her "Daughter." He walked into the mourners' scorn and raised the dead girl with two words: "Little girl, arise."If His authority reaches over disease and death itself, what desperation is too great for Him? This message covers: Why Jairus's urgency and the woman's hiding are both expressions of the same desperate faith What Jesus meant when He said "only believe" as news of death arrived Why Jesus redefines death as sleep — and what that means for your most hopeless situation

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
